The Battle of the Brews beerfest is an Active 20-30 of Santa Rosa fundraiser for local Sonoma County children's charities. This will be the 16th year for the Battle of the Brews commercial event which takes place at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, California. For the first time there will be an additional event called the Craft Cup Competition. It will be an intimate tasting event of select specialty beers presented by local craft breweries, and the pros will compete in a commercial competition. The homebrew competition will be a part of the Craft Cup event.

We highly encourage brewers of Sonoma County and local counties to participate in the homebrew competition and then attend the event. To make it easier for local brewers to participate, we have three drop-off locations: The Beverage People in Sonoma County, Napa Fermentations in Napa County, and Guido's Pizza in Lake County. We are looking to develop this new event into a strong local event combining the best of our homebrew community with the best of our local craft brewing community. Entry fee per beer is only $5 each. Also, discounted tickets ($20 off) to the Craft Cup event are available to members of local homebrew clubs---Sonoma Beerocrats, Napa Bung Brewers, and Lake County hombrew club. To get your discounted ticket, contact the president of your club. If you would like to volunteer to pour at the Craft Cup, homebrew club members are wanted---again, contact the president of your club.
